Update for release Jakarta 2018.327

In the beginning of event.sh script a basic write info should be written
in a log file.
However nothing is being written, meaning that scvoice is not invoking
event.sh as it should.
This is a new problem that does not existed in previous version.

We are now removing the agency filter and see during next hours what is
going to happen, and later we will let you know.

Regards,
Jose

Hi Jan Becker,

As I have explained in last post we had removed agencyID filter with “IPMA” in scvoice but nothing happened. I suppose that the last seiscomp version does not invokes the script as the older versions.What I need to do with the last seiscomp to sending alerts over email? In the other second server is runing the process without any probleme but with last old version.

I appreciate your help.
Regards,
Jose

I have tested it on my computer and it is starting the script. You can copy scvoice.py from the old installation to the new installation and try again.

Regards,
Jan

Dear Jan,

Now it works!.. I have copied scvoice.py from the old installation as
you advise me. Have you an idea what´s mean this?

jose

The both versions, old and last seiscomp, are running in OpenSuse 13.3. I’m not sure if this help to understand it

Can you post the content of scvoice.cfg with respect to agencyIDs? I can’t explain right now why it fails. And what is your configured agencyID in global.cfg?

Hi Jan Becker,

  In fact, there are differences with respect to agency IDs, but

were in the past always so, and scvoice has worked without
problems.

scvoice.cfg (1.39 KB)

global.cfg (783 Bytes)

OK, I see. The scvoice version of the last SC3 release does not include the agencyID by default in the list of agencies. To make it work again, please change the agencyIDs to

agencyIDs = ${agencyID}, IPMA

Thank you Jan!

Jan Becker,

  Sorry... I have changed agencyIDs as you advise me, but in the

last version the reported problem preserves

Please send a debug output with the old and the new version. Logging of the application initialization is enough until “Starting message thread”.

One of log is concerning that is running in the last version with
the last scvoice.py, and the another in the old version, in other
server.

scvoice_older.log (4.11 KB)

scvoice_last.log (3.83 KB)

In the scvoice_last.log the last important lines are missing. Since you are just using “PM”, you should be able to configure it with:

agencyIDs = PM

Sorry Jan, i missed the last two lines when i copy part of the
lines scvoice_last.log. So the agency_IDs are always filled.

scvoice_last.log (4.17 KB)

OK got it, thanks.

So the final agencyID list of both version is different. Old = PM and new = IPMA. Please try to use either

agencyIDs = PM, IPMA

or only

agencyIDs = PM

It should work.

Jan,

Just in case, I send you as attach the scvoice.log of today. You can

see part of file with the old py (it works fine!) and after that i
changed to last version voice.py, about 11h:25m (don´st work
anymore).

But I try to do it as you advise me.

Thank you for your help

scvoice.log (54.3 KB)

Dear Jan Becker,

I tried to extract take off angles using command as you suggested. For first command I get result. However, for second command I get errors. I attached the results below. What should I do next? Thank a lot.

What is $EVENTID and $DBFLAG set to? These are variables and must be populated with the correct values.

The first example might not contain picks or arrivals.
